RULE BOOK FOR BIRLOT-

SAV
“INTRA”

Performing Arts

Group dance:
• Participants: Minimum- 4 and Maximum - 8 participants.
• Time limit- Minimum 4 mins, Maximum 6 mins.
• Use of any abusive language will lead to disqualification.
• Display of any vulgarity, will lead to disqualification.
• All the participants should be in proper and decent costumes.
• Props are allowed
• All participants should be college students only.
• Any background track to be submitted to the event co-ordinator, before the start of the event.

Solo dance:
• Time limit- Minimum 2 mins, Maximum 4 mins
• Use of abusive language not allowed, will lead to disqualification.
• Display of any vulgarity, will lead to disqualification.
• All participants should be college students only.
• Any background track to be submitted to the event co-ordinator, before start of
the event.

Group singing:
• Participants – maximum 6 participants + 3 accompanists (As per group
requirement), minimum 3 participants allowed. However, singers can also play
instruments while singing.
• Time limit – minimum 5 minutes, maximum 8 minutes.
• English, Hindi, Marathi language only.
• Use of abusive language not allowed and will lead to disqualification.
• Display of any vulgarity will lead to disqualification.
• All participants should be college students only
Solo singing and duet singing
• Max 1 accompanist allowed; however, singer(s) can also play instruments while
singing.
• Any background track to be submitted to the event co-ordinator, before start of
the event.
• English, Hindi, Marathi language only.
• Use of abusive language not allowed and will lead to disqualification.
• Display of any vulgarity, will lead to disqualification.
• All participants should be college students only.
• Time limit – minimum 3 minutes, maximum 5 minutes.

Instrument :

• Duration: Minimum 2, Maximum 4 minutes.


• Participants should bring there own instrument.
• Backing tracks without any additional instruments are allowed.
• Backing track should be submitted before performance.
• Judges’ decision will be final and binding.

Acting:

• Skit

FINE ARTS
Artistry Fusion Fest
A dynamic event celebrating drawing, sketching, and painting. Join us to showcase your talent,
learn, and connect with fellow artists.
Topic: freestyle (any magical elements is compulsory)

Rules:
• All artworks must be original.
• Participants should bring their own materials.
• Allowed materials: pencils, pens, charcoal, watercolors, acrylics, oil paints, pastels, and markers
etc
• Time limit: 2 hours for live art contests.
No offensive or inappropriate content.
Respect fellow participants and organizers.

Rangoli
A traditional art form that combines symmetry, color, and creativity. Participants design intricate
patterns using dry colors to adorn the floor, reflecting their artistic skills and cultural expressions.

Theme: unity in diversity

• Materials: Only dry colors are permitted.


• Participants should bring their own materials.
Time Limit: 2 hours.
Judging Criteria: Design symmetry, creativity, neatness, and color combination
• Additional Note: Use of pre-drawn outlines is not allowed.

Mehendi
An artistic event celebrating the beauty of henna designs. Participants create intricate freehand pat-
terns on hands, highlighting their attention to detail, precision, and creativity in traditional or mod-
ern styles.

Topic: Fairy tale

• Materials: Participants must bring their own mehendi cones.


• Theme: Designs should include traditional or creative patterns.
• Time Limit: 1 hour. (Mehendi on only 1 hand should be applied)
• Judging Criteria: Design intricacy, neatness, and creativity.
• Additional Note: Only freehand designs are allowed; no stencils.

LITERARY ARTS
Debate (Shipwreck)
• Team Composition: Individual participation.
• Format:
• Each participant embodies a character (fictional, historical, or contemporary) and argues why they
should be saved from a sinking ship.
• Time allotted: 2 minutes for the initial argument, followed by 1 minute of cross-questioning from
the judges or audience.
• Judging Criteria: Creativity and originality in character portrayal.
• Strength of arguments.
• Wit and ability to counter questions effectively.
• Disqualification Grounds:
• Exceeding time limit.
• Use of inappropriate language or disrespect towards others.

Story writing
• Team Composition: Individual participation.
• Theme: Themes will be disclosed at the start of the event.
• Time Limit: 1 hour.
• Word Limit: 600–1000 words.
• Judging Criteria:Creativity and originality.
• Adherence to the theme.
• Language, grammar, and storytelling skills.
• Submission Guidelines:Stories must be handwritten or typed (as specified in advance).
• Plagiarized content will lead to disqualification.

Poetry Recitation
• Team Composition: Individual participation.
• Content: Participants can recite their own composition or a well-known poem.
• Time Limit: 3–5 minutes.
• Judging Criteria: Clarity of speech and pronunciation.
• Expression and emotion.
• Memorization and adherence to time limit.
• Relevance (if it’s a themed event).
• Disqualification Grounds:
• Exceeding time limit.
• Failure to credit the original poet (if applicable).
Elocution
• Team Composition: Individual participation.
• Topics: Topics will be given 2 days in advance, or the participant can choose from a list (as per
event rules).
• Time Limit: 3–5 minutes.
• Judging Criteria: Content and relevance to the topic.
• Voice modulation and pronunciation.
• Confidence and stage presence.
• Adherence to the time limit.
• Disqualification Grounds:
• Reading entirely from a script.
• Use of offensive or inappropriate language.
• Eligibility: Open to all students of the college.
• Registration: Participants must register before the specified deadline.
• Punctuality: Late arrivals may lead to disqualification.
• Conduct: Participants are expected to maintain decorum and respect for others at all times.
• Decisions: The judges’ decisions will be final and binding.

INFORMALS

TREASURE HUNT
• Single entry not allowed
• There should be a group of minimum 3 and maximum 5 people.
• Damaging college property will lead to disqualification and further actions will be taken
• Fighting for the clue will lead to disqualification
• Judges decision will be final

Man vs Food
• Person with any health issues must not participate
• Concept of the event will be given on the day of event
• Judges decision will be final
Open mic:

• Duration: Minimum 3, Maximum 5 minutes.
