Project Assignment
Elliot International School
Term 1
2024/2025 Academic Year
Submission /Due date for Project- 11th Week ( 18th- 21st November)
Background to the project
"The last tree dies, the last man dies" is a powerful phrase that reminds us of the importance
of taking care of our planet. Our lives depend on the health of the Earth.
In Ghana, illegal mining is harming our environment, polluting our water bodies, and
degrading our soil. This puts our health and future at risk.
We must work together to protect our planet and ensure a healthy future. The United
Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) guide us in achieving this.
As a learner in Elliot International School, your facilitator is assigning you a project topic so
you can also contribute to the issues at hand and possible solutions to make our country
and world a better place.
