No Mans Sky
No mans sky is a cool game. It is a survival story game with multiple mechanics such
as predators, creature taming, sentinel combat, and outer space starship vs
sentinel interceptors and freighters combat.
Freighters And What They Are.
Freighters are really big star ships with 2 different types. System Freighters and
Capital Freighters, there are 12 different types of System Freighter and 2 types
of Capital Freighters. The 2 Capital freighter types are sentinel and Ventadtor.
Sentinel Freighters come in 3 different sizes. First is sentinel class with 3
sections of cargo pods or squares on either side of the freighter, each section
holds 2 cargo pods. The next class name i don't remember but i do remember that
it has 5 sections for cargo pods holding 2 cargo pods each. The next class is HUGE
being the dreadnought class, it has 9 different sections of cargo pods holding 2
each. For venadtors i don't remember the 2 names but the first class is venadtor
class having the same amount for each class as a sentinel freighter but being
smaller and wider then it, it has indentations instead of sections for the cargo
pods. The 12 system class freighters are: The enterprise, the cargo bulkheads
overbite underbite and the square which is a mixture of both. Then we have the
revolver which at the end has a revolver cartridge looking thing, then we have the
oculus, the blade. And i do not remeber the rest.
How Freighters Work
They work as a place to dock all of your ships so they aren't all clumped together
at your base or wherever they are when you are not using other ships. When you go
inside of your freighter you will see any other ships you've bought, randomly an ai
ship will come inside and you can buy it or you can buy and sell items from them.
Freighters are also bases if you don't want to make a base on a planet, you can
build a base on your freighter with plant rooms for planting, a nutrition room for
making food for your living frigates, or yourself for refilling your health, theres
also the terminals for construction, science, exocraft (cars and vehicles), and
farming. You can also construct regular rooms like extensions which are just rooms
with specific designs. There is the refiner room for refining minerals and other
things, The exocraft materielizer for exocrafr summoning on any planet in a
system aslong as your freighters there. The terminals are for blueprints if you
don't want to grind for the nanites or spend them on the blueprints.
Base Building
You build rooms and other things with different types like wood stone and steel.
You have to power the bases with solar panels, generators, and other things. You
can build a portal to go to any other base or space station that you've been to or
have made. All the terminals too and the exocraft summoning station, freighter
one is better. There are different kinds of walls, you can have thin walls, regular
walls, walls with windows, and for the doors you can have curved door, hologram
door, and double glass doors. For the roofing you can have semi circle glass roofs,
glass roofs, regular roofs. For flooring we have regular plates. Theres alot more
then what i can remeber or name, theres also furniture too.
Starship Classes Upgrades and Supercharge
Starships have different classes, which gives them more storage, which makes
them cost more. Haulers are the most expensive kind to buy, because they can
carry so much cargo (hince why they are called Haulers). Fighters are well good at
starship combat, they do more damage then regular. Theres drop pods which are
small ships that have alot of manuverabilty. Theres solar ships that charge the ship
automatically when not in use after collecting the suns energy, theres 2 more
kinds, interceptors which are only found is dissonant systems (more on those
later), you have to fight interceptors until you get to the freighter battle, destroy
it and you can locate a crashed interceptor from using the dreadnought ai
fragment to search archives and find one. Interceptors are incredibly all rounder
ships that have good things in every stat, if you want to focus on one specfic stat
just get upgrades for it. The second special kind of ship is the LIVING ship, the
living ships are ALIVE BEINGS that you can for some odd reason enter and control
(don't ask how). They are good ships, but can be better, it is annoying to get
upgrades for it since you have to find “void eggs” in space and shoot them to get
upgrades for specficlly the living ship only.
