Foreword
Three tall-standing beautiful
trees in a serene South Bengaluru
neighbourhood guide a passerby’s
eyes to the stacked volumes of
this magnificent home. Aptly titled
‘Transient Nest’, it nestles in between
greenery, but also opens out to
natural elements like light, breeze and
greenery. Interestingly, the duplex
sitting on the rented unit influence
design elements and features that
add personality to this home.
Named ‘Anokhi’ by the clients, an ode
to their daughter, the home mimics
the extraordinary and wonderful
characteristics, most of which
revolve around light and interactive
spaces. The intention is to get
together and relax after a long day’s
work, testament to the prioritised
togetherness that thoughtful
architecture encourages and sustains
in the suburbs of Bangalore.
