1. Give two examples of words that show the extract is written in first-person narrative.

Section B: Writing

Imagine what the Tyrannosaurus Rex would have thought about what was going
on in the museum as he stood there watching everything.
What did he notice?
What did he think about the different voices?
Was there a bone missing in his skeleton?
What sort of personality would the T-Rex have had?
Plan three or four paragraphs of 130-160 words telling the events at the museum
from the T-Rex’s perspective.
Write in first-person narrative.
Use a mixture of standard English and colloquial expression to sound
authentic.
Use dialogue if appropriate, similar to Voice 1.
Use a combination of short and long sentences for effect.
