Ans:- Below are the 5 Lines on Yoga which are mainly focused on the Concept of yoga.
Yoga is the art of living life through mental, spiritual and physical paths.
Yoga helps to attain stability and to meditate in the consciousness of the inner self.
Yoga also helps in not thinking too much about the mind, emotions and physical needs
and teach us how to face the challenges of day to day life.
Yoga works at the level of body, mind, and energy.
Regular practice of yoga brings positive changes in the body which includes strong
muscles, flexibility, patience and good health.
Yoga is an art that connects our body, mind, and soul together and makes us strong and
peaceful.
A healthy person can do more work than an unhealthy person. Just 10-20 minutes of
yoga every day can help your health to be good.
Yoga helps in making your heart healthy and it works more efficiently by increasing the
blood flow in your body and veins.
Children are encouraged to do yoga because it helps them to concentrate better on their
studies.
Yoga is a miracle and if done it will guide your whole life.

• Prana Mudra. Beneficial for wellness, this provides you with immense energy....
• Vayu Mudra. By increasing the air element ftinside you, this helps in pain relief....
• Varun Mudra.
(4) What guidelines need to be followed while
practicing Asana.
Ans:- Whenever you practice any sport or physical discipline like yoga asanas, you will
be challenged to do things with your body that you may not have done before, thus
making it possible for you to get injured. It is therefore important to adhere carefully to all
guidelines and precautions.
Supplementary Studies :-
1) Write information about one standing and one sitting asana not mentioned
in the text book.
Ans:- Standing Position:- The legs, waist, spine and neck are bent backwards clearing
the
toxins and resulting in effective blood
circulation. Spine flexibility increases and flexibility of abdominal muscles improve.
Sitting Position:- The asana calms the mind,
gives flexibility to the joints of the arms
and legs, increases efficiency of the
respiratory system. In reverse order, asan
should be reveled.
