DISTRICT MIDYEAR IN-SERVICE TRAINING SY 2024-2025
TO: All School Heads, Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel
1. Pursuant to DepEd Order 009, s. 2024 entitled “Implementing Guidelines on the School Calendar and activities for the School Year
2024-2025, Mid-Year break is scheduled from November 29-30, 2024.
2. As required in previous DepEd issuances, teachers will undergo relevant in- service training during the midyear break.
3. In this regard, all teachers and school heads both in elementary and secondary are required to attend the District Midyear In-
Service Training to be held at Alicia North Central School Multi-Purpose Hall on November 29-30, 2024.
4. The following are the objectives of this INSET.
a. to capacitate school heads and teachers on the development of reading skills among learners across all learning areas.
b. to reequip the participants on the application of Blooms’ Taxonomy on the approaches and strategies used in the classrooms and
its revision.
c. to understand of the importance of HOTS in the crafting of assessment.
d. to helps participants in devising interventions and innovations as results of the assessments conducted in the classrooms.
e. to emphasizes understanding the current guidelines for developing, contextualizing, and producing various types of learning
resources.
f. to focus on effective lesson planning activities across all learning
areas and provide insights into the proper procedures and guidelines in
creating plans for instruction.
5. The INSET will be organized and managed by Eddie T. Fernandez, Head Teacher 1 of Salvacion Elementary School.
