Design a warm-up and cool-down routine that is right for you based on what you
have learned.
Initial Body Warm-Up
1. Name five exercise activities you engage in or would like to engage in. For each
exercise, list a modified version of that activity you can perform as part of your
warm-up routine. (10 points)
Exercise: Modified Activity:
Areal Warm up that is assigned in class like wrist stretches
Working out Hamstring stretches or walking on treadmill
Hiphop Warming up with isolations
Ballet Bar stretching
Running Stretching legs and jogging in place to warm up.
Pre- and Post-Workout Stretching
2. Name five stretches you will use in your warm-up and cool-down routines, and
describe how to perform each one properly. Remember to include stretches for all
parts of the body. (10 points)

1 Wrist stretches putting your hands on the floor and adding weight hold for one minute.
2 Childs pose. Do Childs pose to stretch out back
3 toe touches. Keep your legs steraght and touch your toes and hold till you feel your muscles relax
4 Lunges. Lean forward and add pressure to your hips till your dont fell any tightness
5 sitting on your heals. Sit on your heels and wait till you fell suffesently stretched
