Engine Machine Shop In Process Quality/Plant Quality (Powertrain-Cylinder Head, Block & Crank)
Machining Responsibility-
Working as Machining shop Quality team leader with below listed responsibilities: -
Leading machining shop quality function for Cylinder Block, Cylinder Head and Crank line.
Having experience in handling line quality team to ensure and improve product quality by frequency wise
inspection and sampling techniques to follow customers’ requirements.
Responsible to attending customer complain and providing ICA for smooth operation & 8D as PCA.
Responsible for daily line quality issue analysis of both engine machining and assembly with the help of
fishbone technology, brainstorming and responsible for implementation and monitoring of corrective action,
then ensure horizontal deployment as well, as preventive action.
Monitoring and control of various processes and quality work such as verification of CMM, surface finish &
adcole, hommel & hand gauging measurement report verification on daily basis.
Responsible for making the final decision of all measurement doubtful results.
Monitoring the live process performance through SPC Control chart with the help of QDAS Software.
Planning & perform the long term and short- term capability study (Cpk or Ppk).
Proactive in Continuous Improvements & Cost Saving trough DMAIC & KAIZEN.
Monthly review & update Control plan & Inspection sheet with CFT team.
Responsible for achieving 0/100 mindset targets & improvement in PPM matrix with optimum resources.
