Career Statement
I have experience in management in Trauma healing and rehabilitation majorly in the settlement
setting mainly in trauma. I have knowledge and skills in organizational management, team building,
and management of financial resources and leadership skills. I am competent in project planning,
policy formulation; research both qualitative and quantitative research studies. I gained the experience
after working with Non-Governmental Organizations, Universities, Community Based Organizations
.These include, Lutheran World Federation, Tutapona, Uganda Red Cross Society, AVSI Foundation,
Bugema university international Fellowship (BUIF) and Bugema University Dafi Student
Association(BUDSA)

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in arts of social work and social administration of Bugema
University in Uganda with a GPA 4.09. I also submitted a research report on Effects of hygiene
on social development of people in Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement for a Bachelor’s Degree at
Bugema University.

2013-2016: Bachelor’s degree in arts of social work and social administration of Bugema
University in Uganda with a GPA 4.09.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
1st April 2018 to 2021, I worked as a coach in graduating to resilient project in Rwamwanja
refugee settlement and 2022 as a community based trainer (CBT) up to 2023 and I engaged
in the following activities;
• Data collection
• Data entry
• Coaching in business,saving,food and nutrition, Water sanitation and hygiene and
many others
• Link participants to service providers
• Training participants in farming and financial literacy.
1st Dec2016-28th Feb 2017: I worked as a volunteer at Tutapona Rwamwanja refugee
settlement and I engaged in the following activities;
• Trauma rehabilitation among refugees who are traumatized.
• Individual counseling sessions.
• Empower program.
• Follow up program.
18th MAY to 27th JULY 2015 I was student internee attached to the livelihood sector and
environment sector and I engaged in the following activities;
• Engaging refugees in dialogue on improving their standards of living in Rwamwanja
refugee settlement.
• Monitoring and evaluation of VSLA groups in Rwamwanja refugee settlement.
• Facilitating trainings on VSLA groups in Rwamwanja refugee settlement.
• Mobilization and sensitization of refugees for awareness of the organization
activities.
• Recording the daily activities of livelihood sector.
2014-2016: worked as vice president of Bugema University International fellowship (BUIF)
and I engaged in the following activities;
• Engaging students in daily prayers.
• Preaching the word of God to the believers at the campus.
• Engaging students in morning devotion.
2013-2015: used to serve as a data collector under UNHCR in pattern ship with LWF
(Lutheran World Federation) during KAP surveys in WASH, Refugees verification, refuges
repatriation and SGBV in Rwamwanja refugee settlement and I engaged in the following
activities:
• Recording the information.
• Collecting data to the organization.
• Translating.
11th march to 31st December 2013: worked as community hygiene promoter in Rwamwanja
settlement under (LWF) Lutheran world federation and I engaged in the following activities;
Household hygiene and sanitation improvement campaigns.
• Sensitization and awareness on diseases control and best practices of hygiene at
household level.
• Distribution of latrine construction materials to households.
• Facilitating training of water user committees with other partners.
