What is an adverb?
Adverb is a word or an expression that
modifies a verb, adjective or another
adverb.

Okay, very good class!
Today we will learn about more on
adverbs.
When we say Adverb of Time, It
tells you when something happened
or will happen. They express a point
in time.
These adverbs of time are often
used:
✓ To talk about the past: yesterday,
the day before, ago, last
week/month/year
✓ To talk about the present: still,
yet, while, when
✓ To talk about the future: soon,
then, next week/month/year, in 2
days, tomorrow, the day after
tomorrow.
Let’s take this into sentence.
For example: I am going on vacation for a week.
The family goes to church on Sunday.
Who can give me another example of adverb of
time? (The students claps three times.)
Okay, very good! Let’s give her a 3 claps.
Adverb of Place always talk about the location
where the action happens. A word that answers the
question “where”.
Here are the example of adverb of place.
Up, down, around, away, north, southeast
Now let’s take this into sentence
For example: Leo travelled around the world.
