Addon Installation
Please follow the below steps to complete the installation process of
Scorm Course Addon.
1. Before starting the installation process, we would suggest you to
check your application version. For checking the application
you can move to About section from Settings menu.
2. If you are running the latest version 4.4 or greater than 4.4 of
Academy LMS, You are now ready to install the addon.
3. If you are running the latest version, You are now good to go.
4. First download the addon you want to install on your application
from Codecanyon.
5. Unzip the downloaded file.
6. You should get Two folders inside. One is for documentation
and the other is for the addon file.
7. You do not need to change anything. Like renaming, removing
or something else.
8. Now get back to your application. Login as Admin role. After
logging in you will be able to keep following.
9. From the left navigation menu, Go to Addon Manager from
Addon section.
10. You will find a list of addons you have so far.
11. Click on the “Add New Addon” button on the top. You
should redirect to an upload addon view
12. That view will contain a single field called “Upload Addons
File”. Just upload the “scorm_course.zip” file.
13. After that hit the “Install Addon” button.
14. You should get a success message notification and you can
also see your installed addon on the “Installed Addon” list
below.
Addon Usage
If you've installed the addon successfully, You are welcome to
this section. Scorm, which stands for Shareable Content Object
Reference Model, is a set of technical standards for eLearning
software products. Scorm tells programmers how to write their code
so that it can 'play well' with other eLearning software. It is the
de-facto industry standard for eLearning interoperability.
Add scom course:
- You will get a select option to select the type of course when
adding courses. To add a Scorm course, select Scorm and add
the course with the required information.
- You will see a button for uploading the Scorm zip file after
submitting the form.
- Click the upload course button. You will get a floating form
after clicking the button.
- Select a scorm provider first.
- Choose your scorm zip file.
- Click the upload button to save the course file.
