In this current era, Egypt faces countless major challenges spanning different

sectors and all of us strive hard to try to reduce them. These challenges include
pollution, public health issues and diseases, reducing and adapting to the effects of
climate change. In addition to recycling garbage and waste for economic and
environmental purposes.
The challenge this semester is to create an air purification project using
natural materials with specific design requirements. Our project solves some of
these challenges as it successfully purifies the polluted air and improves its purity
with sensors reading proofs. The main aim for the project is to change the air quality
for the better and reduce waste material. Our project investigates this aim as we
use wasted material after treat it to purify the air.
Our prior solution is an air purifier which depends on activated carbon. We
found that activated carbon purifies the air efficiently. Activated carbon is commonly
applied in air filtration systems to remove harmful gases, odors, and volatile organic
compounds (VOCs). It helps improve air quality in industrial and commercial
environments by trapping pollutants on its porous surface. Our addition is to add
another layer of calcium hydroxide to remove CO and SOx from the exhaust
gases that are a byproduct of many industrial processes. Removing these oxides
helps to reduce the amount of acid rain that forms due to industrial pollutants. In

addition to a layer of pad filter to filter large particles and dust. We found that this
solution is the closest to our project, almost identical to it. The solution is designed
to be simple, cheap, durable, and easy to maintain so, it was a successful choice.
The material were tested in strength and the efficiency. The prototype after the final
adjustments performed well and the reading of the sensors was accurate.
The final results of the project meet the design requirements, the percentage
of purifying is **** and it is the greatest results until now. Meeting the standards of
simplicity and cost. The idea itself does not pollute the environment on the contrary,
it improve, and this limits climate change.
