INDUCTION CEREMONY
Our induction ceremony started
with a national anthem, which
promoted a sense of community
spirit. Our president Hamza Ahmed
addressed the value of teamwork
during his speech then the
audience was encouraged by the
distribution of certificates and an
engaging film feature about
cabinet members. Miss Rabia
ended the induction ceremony
with a captivating speech which
inspired Members to aim for
greatness.

INDUSTRIAL VISITS
KTDMC - OCT 28,2024
Our students had an enriching
experience during their visit to KTDMC
on October 28, 2024. The trip provided
valuable insights into industry
operations, machinery, and safety
protocols, offering hands-on experience
and exposure to best practices. It was a
successful visit, equipping students with
essential knowledge and skills for their
future careers. We thank the KTDMC
team for their hospitality and expertise.
GHANDHARA AUTOMOBILES LTD. - NOV 2,2024
Our visit to Ghandhara Automobiles gave
students valuable insights into the
automotive industry, particularly the
truck assembly process. They observed
advanced machinery, efficient assembly
lines, and the use of high-quality raw
materials. This experience deepened
their understanding of manufacturing
practices, quality control, and industry
challenges. We thank the Ghandhara
team for their hospitality and expertise.

TOTAL PARCO - OCT 28,2024
On Thursday, 7th November 2024,
Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering
students visited TOTAL PARCO’s Lube Oil
Blending Plant at Port Qasim. Organized
by SME and coordinated by Ms. Rabia
Siddiqui, the visit provided an in-depth
understanding of operational processes,
from blending to packaging, with a focus
on energy efficiency and ISO-certified
safety standards. Mentors Sir Salam and
Sir Zaid guided the group, enhancing the
experience. This visit served as an
excellent opportunity to bridge
academic knowledge with practical
industry insights.

INDUSTRY 4.0 - NOV 11,2024
Embracing the Future: Insights and
Innovations at the Industry 4.0 Seminar
mechanization of the 18th century to the
digital dominance of today, industries have
continuously evolved, this seminar aimed to
spread awareness about transformative
technologies, from the steam-powered
revolution of Industry 1.0 to the intelligent,
interconnected world of Industry 4.0.
Members of SME engaged in insightful
discussions, shaping their perspectives on the
next industrial revolution.
SEMINAR
ADVANCEMENT IN COMPOSITE
MATERIAL - NOV 5,2024
The SME NED Chapter organized an insightful
seminar on November 5th at the Mechanical
AV Hall, focusing on the latest developments
in composite materials. The session featured
esteemed speakers Mr. Muhammad Adnan
Khan (General Manager, SUPARCO) and Mr.
Irshadullah (PhD Scholar/Manager, SUPARCO).
Topics covered included advanced alloys,
fibers, polymers, and more, offering
participants a comprehensive understanding
of emerging trends and applications in
material science.

OLYMPIAD 4.0
Our members showcased remarkable athleticism and team spirit during
the recent Olympiad, participating in a variety of events, including
football, sprint, relay race, cricket, badminton, arm wrestling, tug of war,
and chess. Their efforts were highly commendable, earning runner-up
positions in Arm Wrestling (Girls), Relay Race (Girls), Tug of War (Girls), and
Sprint (Boys). Appreciation goes to all participants for their outstanding
performances and dedication!
