Understanding Work Queue (Basket)

and Operator Relation


Work Items in Work Basket will be accessible to Multiple Operators.

Each Operator gets assigned with Work Group.

In Operator rule form, under work tab we find work group being assigned.

At the same place Reports To, we can assign reporting manager of operator.

Work Group :- Work Group is Like a Team of Operators.

One operator may get connected to multiple Work Groups.

Work group gets connected to Work Basket and vice versa.

Same work group is assigned back.


Operator, Work Group and Work Basket Relation

From the above diagram,

If a task is routed Work Queue1, the task and Queue1 will be accessible to Op1, 2 and 3.

If a task is routed Work Queue2, the task and Queue2 will be accessible to Op4, and 5.

 Work group is an interface between Operators and Work Basket. It provides access to a specific
basket.
