Research Associate October 2016- January 2018
● Worked for a UNICEF-funded research project comprising three studies- On Sanitation Policy, On School Choice, and
the landscape analysis of the NGOs in the state of Gujarat, India
● Worked with the UNICEF team to evaluate the impact of the implementation of the Swachh Bharat Mission-
Gramin. The study was to verify the ODF status of Gujarat’s first ODF district- Narmada district.
● Designed the research tools, and strategized the Research Design and Methodology in a team of two researchers
● The study on sanitation policy was quantitative and managed the data collection from 600 households through 2
field coordinators and 30 surveyors. Later analyzed it for the research findings.
● The study on the parents’ decision of choosing a private school over government schools had in-depth interviews
and group discussions with the stakeholders. Thus, qualitative in nature.
● Two reports have been published so far- On School Choice and, A Landscape Analysis of NGOs

water after testing the water from 30+ sources in rural areas of Udaipur district in Rajasthan. Stayed with a tribal
family in a rural area of Rajasthan, designed a project for under-5 child mortality due to diarrhea
