Steps to Create and Use Google Forms
1. Access Google Forms
● Go to Google Forms.
● Log in with your Google account.
2. Create a New Form
1. Click the blank form icon to start a new form.
2. Alternatively, choose from templates available in the Template Gallery.
3. Customize the Form
● Title and Description:
○ Click on "Untitled Form" to add a title.
○ Add a short description below to explain the purpose of the form.
● Add Questions:
○ Click on the + icon to add a new question.
○ Choose the question type (e.g., multiple-choice, short answer, dropdown,
etc.).
○ Add options for multiple-choice or dropdown questions.
● Sections:
○ Use the Add Section icon to divide your form into parts.
● Media:
○ Insert images or videos using the respective icons.
4. Adjust Form Settings
● Click on the Settings gear icon (top right) to:
○ Collect responses: Enable email collection if needed.
○ Restrict access: Limit access to specific people (e.g., organization
members).
○ Allow editing after submission: Let users modify their responses if
required.
○ Presentation settings: Add a progress bar or shuffle question order.
○ Quizzes: Turn the form into a quiz and assign point values to questions.
5. Share the Form
● Send the Form:
○ Click on Send (top right).
○ Choose to share via:
■ Email: Directly send it to participants.
■ Link: Copy a sharable link.
■ Embed HTML: Embed the form on a website.
● Collaborators:
○ Add collaborators to edit the form by clicking on the three-dot menu and
selecting Add Collaborators.
