Using Baby Snuggle Solid in Pastel Purple and a 5.5 mm hook
Start with a magic ring
Rnd 1: 6 hdc in the ring (6)
Rnd 2: [1 inc] x6 (12)
Rnd 3: [1 hdc, 1 inc] x6 (18)
Rnd 4: 1 hdc, 1 inc, [2 hdc, 1 inc] x5, 1 hdc (24)
Rnd 5: [3 hdc, 1 inc] x6 (30)
Rnd 6: 2 hdc, 1 inc, [4 hdc, 1 inc] x5, 2 hdc (36)
Rnd 7: 35 hdc, 1 sc (36)
Now you are going to change to Baby Snuggle Solid in Aquamarine
Rnd 8: 1 sl st, change to Aquamarine, 1 sc, 34 hdc (36)
Rnds 9-13: 36 hdc (5 rounds, 36)
Now you are going to crochet the heel. Start by crocheting 20 hdc with Aquamarine, do NOT
cut the yarn. Count back 25 hdc. In that stitch you are going to attach the Pastel Purple yarn
and crochet the heel.
HEEL:
Using Baby Snuggle Solid in Pastel Purple
Rnd 1: 1 sc, 16 hdc, 1 sc, ch 2, turn (18)
Rnd 2: [1 dec] x2, 10 hdc, [1 dec] x2, ch 2, turn (14)
Rnd 3: [1 dec] x2, 6 hdc, [1 dec] x2, ch 2, turn (10)
Rnd 4: [1 dec] x2, 2 hdc, [1 dec] x2, ch 2, turn (6)
Rnd 5: 6 hdc, ch 2, turn (6)
Rnd 6: [1 inc] x2, 2 hdc, [1 inc] x2, ch 2, turn (10)
Rnd 7: [1 inc] x2, 6 hdc, [1 inc] x2, ch 2, turn (14)
Rnd 8: [1 inc] x2, 10 hdc, [1 inc] x2, ch 1, turn (18)
Rnd 9: 1 sc, 16 hdc, 1 sc (18)
Cut yarn, but leave a long tail. Fold the heel and sew the sides together. See pictures below.
Do not fasten the thread yet, you can use it to sew the potential holes that will show between
the heel and sock.
Now you are going to continue with Baby Snuggle Solid in Aquamarine to make the shaft.

SHAFT:
Using Baby Snuggle Solid in Aquamarine
Put a locking stitch marker after the first hdc.
Rnd 1: 11 hdc, 18 hdc around the heel, 7 hdc (36)
Rnds 2-12: 36 hdc (11 rounds, 36)
Crochet 25 hdc with Aquamarine so you end up on the long side of the heel.
Change to Baby Snuggle Solid in Pastel Purple. To make the color change more smooth
work 1 sc with Aquamarine, 1 sl st with Pastel Purple and 1 sc before making hdc again.
Crochet 2 rounds of hdc in Pastel Purple.
To make the hanging loop, ch 10, skip 2 hdc and attach with 1 sl st.
Cut yarn and fasten all threads.
Attach 18 mm safety eyes 4 rows down from the top of the shaft with 6 stitches apart.
Embroider black eyebrows.
CHEEKS (make 2)
Using Rainbow 8/8 in Pink and a 3.5 mm hook
Start with a magic ring
Rnd 1: 6 sc in the ring (6)
Rnd 2: [1 inc] x6 (12)
Finish with 1 sl st.
Cut yarn but leave a long tail for sewing.
Pin the cheeks to the sock and sew them on.
TAGS (make 3)
Using Baby Snuggle Print in Fluffy Green and a 5.5 mm hook
Start with a magic ring
Rnd 1: 6 sc into the ring (6)
Rnd 2: 6 sc (6)
Rnd 3: [1 inc] x6 (12)
Rnd 4: 12 sc (12)
Rnd 5: [1 sc, 1 inc] x6 (18)
Rnds 6-7: 18 sc (2 rounds, 18)
Rnd 8: [1 sc, 1 dec] x6 (12)
Finish with 1 sl st.
Cut yarn and fasten all threads.
Pin the tags to the sock and sew them on one by one.
