1. Offer competitive compensation and benefits:
Review and adjust compensation plans regularly to ensure they are competitive and fair, and reflect the
value employees bring to the company. Consider offering other benefits such as gym memberships or
tuition reimbursement.
2. Promote social networking:
Organize team-building activities, social events, or volunteer opportunities to strengthen relationships and
friendships among employees. For example, schedule a quarterly group visit or a company-wide
volunteer day.
3. Encourage creativity and innovation:
Use regular "idea boxes" or brainstorming sessions where employees can share new ideas and
suggestions for improvement. They reward the best ideas and use them to justify their investment.
4. Provide a mentoring program:
Pair experienced employees with new hires or those seeking career advancement opportunities.
Mentoring programs support the idea of knowledge sharing, skill development, and investment in
professional development.
5. Celebrate personal milestones:
Identify and celebrate personal milestones, such as work anniversaries, birthdays, or life milestones. This
means company value employee as individuals and care about their personal lives.
6. Use an open door policy:
Maintain an open door policy and encourage employees to reach out to company with concerns, ideas or
questions. This encourages open communication and shows that company value their input.
7. Provide a comfortable work environment:
Invest in high-performance furniture, natural light, and a comfortable office environment that enhances
productivity and well-being. A pleasant work environment can greatly affect employee motivation and
satisfaction.
8. Encourage good habits:
Encourage good habits by choosing healthy foods, standing tables, or providing on-site exercise classes.
This shows that you are committed to employee well-being and can improve overall morale and
productivity.
9. Foster a sense of purpose:
Clearly articulate the company’s mission, values, and impact, and help employees understand the
importance of their contributions. When employees feel that their work has meaning and purpose, they
are more likely to be motivated and engaged.
10. Implement an employee recognition program:
Use a formalized system to recognize and reward outstanding work, such as an "Employee of the Month"
or a points-based reward system. For example, company can offer gift cards, extra paid vacations, or
special parking spots as rewards.
11. Acknowledge Accomplishments:
Publicly acknowledge and celebrate employee accomplishments, no matter how small. For example,
company can give a shout-out in a team meeting or send a company-wide email to highlight an
employee’s outstanding work

Make it a habit to show genuine appreciation to employees for their hard work and contributions. A
simple "thank you" or handwritten note can go a long way in making employees feel valued and
appreciated

Demonstrate positive behaviour such as optimism, resilience, and empathy that company want to see in
employees. Company actions will inspire and inspire others to follow.
15. Provide development opportunities:
Provide professional development opportunities, such as training programs, mentoring, or extension
activities. This shows that company is committed to their development and motivate them to expand their
knowledge.
16. Encourage Mindfulness:
Use a variety of meditation or mindfulness practices to help employees manage stress and improve
concentration, such as meditation or yoga activities.
17. Offer flexible work schedules:
Consider offering flexible work schedules such as compressed work weeks or remote work options to
meet the needs of different employees.
18. Encourage transparency:
Make project objectives, strategies and challenges clear. Employees are more engaged when they
understand the big picture.
19. Encourage creativity:
Encourage employees to think outside the box and share new ideas. Embrace creativity and risk-taking
within reasonable limits. Give groups a full day to brainstorm, discuss and prototype their ideas.
Encourage them to think big, challenge assumptions, and consider new solutions to existing problems or
opportunities for new products or services.
20. Provide autonomy:
Trust your employees and give them the freedom to make decisions and do their own thing. This creates a
sense of power and accountability. Look for projects or projects that are well-defined but allow for some
flexibility in approach and decision-making. These can be new projects, process improvements, even sub-
projects within larger project.
