V. RATIONALE
Family Day is an annual event by Child Development Center that provides
families and their kids with an opportunity to commemorate the value of family and to
spend time together engaging in enjoyable activities. The different events allow family
members to have time together and learn positive messages for family life, how to
preserve their families, and the value of teamwork within the family. Children actively
participate in many of the games and activities, feeling their protection and care while
they help their parents or guardians learn positive lessons about family unity and
useful, important family values.
Given that the family is regarded as the fundamental unit of society, it is in the
family that we consistently cultivate the foundation of a well-rounded person in
school. The Family Day school celebration highlights the critical role that schools play
in raising responsible citizens who will be essential to developing a better nation for
future generations.
VI. OBJECTIVES
The Family Day aims to:
1. Build strong foundation among the family, as one of the fundamental institution of
the society.
2. Emphasizes the value of each family member for the improvement of each
individual.
3. To develop good relationship between the child and parents.
VII. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This one-day activity will help the family to improve each socialization skills of
the child between their classmates, parents, and child development worker.
