OPENING PROGRAM (INVESTITURE CEREMONY) – Oct.
18-19, 2024
Good Morning everyone! Magandang buhay mabubuting tao ng Sta. Lucia! We
are gathered here this morning to celebrate the Investiture Ceremony and Backyard
Camping of our school. This program marks the induction of our new scouters and
leaders who will carry the torch of responsibility as a scouter.
Being a scouter is not an easy task, hindi madali ang maging isang scout since
you have a lot of duties and responsibilities to perform; however, if you live by the
heart the promises and the laws of being a scouter, nothing is impossible to do.
Welcome to the 2024 BSP and GSP School Backyard Camping of Sta. Lucia
Elementary School.
For us to know the fulfillment of the Scout’s promises, a camping is held here at
Sta. Lucia Elementary School in which the campers are grouped together to unite and
to build a good relationship. Ang ganitong gawain ay lumilinang sa bawat kakayahan
ng mga bata upang magkaroon ng pagkakaisa at mapagyaman ang magandang
relasyon sa bawat kapwa bata nila.
SALUTE TO THE FLAG
To start with, may we call on BSP Scout Naithan Shan Eduard C. Magday for the
salute to the Philippine Flag.

COME AND SEEK THE LORD’S BLESSING & NATIONAL ANTHEM
Let us stand and call upon the presence of the Lord in our midst to be led by
Patrol Leader Cherry F. Bagsao. And we will then sing the national anthem under my
direction.
Thank you, Patrol Leader Cherry.
For more than 100 years, scouting programs have instilled in youth the values
found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Today, these values are just as relevant in
helping the youth to grow to their full potential being. Scouting helps the youth
develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills
that influence their adult lives.
OFFERS US WITH NUGGETS OF WISDOM
Before we proceed to our program, let us seek the blessings of knowledge and
wisdom from the embodiment of learning, Patrol Leader Jelly F. De Peralta will share
with us a nugget of wisdom as a symbol of commitment to seek knowledge and
embrace learning in every aspect of our lives.
In behalf of Patrol Leader Jelly, it is my privileged to share you the Pearls of
wisdom from Lord Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of Scouting: "We must change
boys and girls from a 'what can I get' to a 'what can I give' attitude." Kailangan nating
baguhin ang mga batang lalaki at babae sa ugaling “ANO ANG AKING MAKUKUHA, sa
ANO ANG AKING MAIBIBIGAY”.
Scouting isn't just about earning badges and recognitions, Scouting strives to
prepare youth to become a responsible, participating citizens and leaders who are
guided by the values of Scout Oath and Law. You make a living by what you get, but
you make a life by what you give. Isa itong magandang paalala sa atin upang
gumanpan ng buong husay sa ating mga tungkulin. Ano mang estado ng buhay natin,
piliin nating isipin ang kung ano ang ating maipaglilingkod o maibibigay kaysa sa kung
ano ang ating makukuha sa ating sariling interes. Always live a life with gratefulness
and kindness. As the EsP or GMRC mantra says: PILIING MAGING MABUTI TAO SA
LAHAT NG PANAHON AT PAGKAKATAON.
UNSELFISH AND OPEN-HEARTED WORDS OF WELCOME & INSPIRATIONA MESSAGE
To promote and encourage professional development among leader and
scouters, may I call on stage our ever-supportive School Parent-Teacher Association
President Ronald C. Quiaoit to give his welcoming remarks. Let’s give him a big hand!

Moving ahead with our program, we are also delighted to have here with us our
respected Brgy. Captain, Hon. Florante P. Manuel, let us give him a round of applause
as he gives his inspirational message.

TIME TO RECITE THE PANUNUMPA NG KATAPATAN SA WATAWAT
Our flag – the sun and stars – is the living symbol of our country, the Philippines.
It is the emblem of our nationhood, kung ano ang ating pinagdaanan, kung ano tayo
ngayon at kung ano ang ating magiging kinabukasan. In our flag are preserved our
common aspirations as Filipinos and our collective vision for our country’s future. To
lead the Pledge of Allegiance, may I call on BSP Scout John Patrick A. Facun.

INVITE EVERYONE FOR THE REDEDICATION OF THE SCOUT OATH AND LAW
The Scout Oath and Law are shared by every member of the scouting group. An
oath is a way a scout to act every day towards one another and other people, and the
law outlines a way to act towards one another and the world.
To lead the Oath and Law of the Boy Scout of the Philippines, may I call on the
following Scouters:

Girl scouts of all ages recite and live by the ideals listed in the Girl Scout
Promise and Law. They remind us to do our best in being kind to others, respecting
ourselves, making the world a better place, and so much more.
The Girl Scout Promise is a commitment family can make to support the local
Girl Scout Community as they grow, bond, and learn together.
To lead the Promise and of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines, may I call on the

NOW, LET US ACKNOWLEDGE THE PRESENCE OF EVERYONE
Investiture Ceremony is one of the important events of our school. It is here that
we entrust faith and hope in our Scouters. Ang bawat Scouter na nabigyan ng
natatanging tungkulin ay kahanga-hanga at sadyang maipagmamalaki. Today’s
celebration makes every Scouter feel unique as they shoulder a big responsibility in
various capacities for the smooth functioning of our school activities.
May we now acknowledge the presence of every Scouters in this investiture
ceremony. (instruction sa paglalagay ng panyo)
Maraming Salamat po sa mga magulang o guardians sa inyong partisipasyon sa
mahalagang kaganapan ng buhay ng mga mumunting Scouters na ito. Dear Scouters,
may this profound gesture symbolize the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom that shall
enlighten your hearts and minds. Magsilbi nawa itong hamon sa iyon upang buong
husay na gumampan ng inyong mga tungkulin bilang isang mabuting Scouters.
DECLARATION OF THE OPENING OF SIMULTENEOUS BACKYARD CAMPING 2024
As we draw the curtains on this remarkable investiture ceremony, let us carry
with us the spirit of leadership, responsibility, and unity that has illuminated this
event. These Scouters, along with the entire school community, stand dignified to
embark a journey of growth, service, and excellence. Padayon Sta. Lucians!
Now, may I call on our esteemed School Head, Madam Lina B. Castro to formally
declare the Opening of our Simultaneous Backyard Camping 2024.
