Designation- Associate Business Manager- Trainee


Location- Bangalore

About the Role

The Associate Business Manager- Trainee (ABM- Trainee) position serves as a dedicated training platform designed
to nurture high-potential individuals, facilitating their progression into the role of an ABM within a period of 12-18
months.

As an ABM- Trainee, you will be part of one of the category teams. Each category team has Senior Business
Managers/Business Managers and a group of Assistant Business Managers, Category Associates and Key Account
Manager.

In the trainee role, you will be provided a 12-18 months period as a training period to take up roles and
responsibilities of an ABM. Throughout this training period, you will work in close collaboration with the category
manager and fellow associate category managers, actively supporting their initiatives. Regular quarterly
performance reviews with your manager will be conducted to establish clear milestones that enable your seamless
transition into the role of an ABM.

Upon transitioning from an ABM-trainee to an ABM, your responsibilities will expand to encompass broader
mandates.

As an ABM, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and executing strategies to foster growth within your designated
category. This involves formulating a comprehensive, long-term vision for the category, breaking it down into
actionable plans, and aligning your team's objectives with these plans. Your strategic acumen will be put to the test
as you scale and innovate within your category, forging critical collaborations with teams spanning user growth,
product development, technology, and fulfillment, in addition to interfacing with other business categories.
Furthermore, you will regularly present your findings and progress updates to the CEO and other senior leaders,
ensuring transparency and alignment with the broader organizational goals.

What you will do (ABM- Trainee)

- Support the category managers and ABMs to develop and execute initiatives to grow the category
- Drive continuous problem discovery through comprehensive and continuous understanding of user
and market
- Drive execution on cross-org initiatives with respective teams. Examples of cross-org initiatives
include:
- Improving pricing on the platform
- Improving product quality on the platform
- Build strong relationships with sellers and identify opportunities to partner with sellers and drive
growth for the category
- Present detailed problem definitions and solution to senior leadership and execute the solutions
What you will do (ABM)

- Oversee overall half yearly vision, plan and goal (OKR) setting for branded users in your category
- Own the customer experience, growth, and P&L of your category
- Deliver on set goals while working closely with users as well as user growth, fulfilment, etc.
- Identify potential brand partnerships and onboard these brands as users on the platform
- Identify, lead, and drive initiatives for non-incremental growth by identifying key levers
- Play a crucial role in driving cross-org projects for the business org
- Drive both strategy development and execution on cross-org initiatives
Business Unit: GROWTH

Designation- Senior Associate- Growth


Location- Bangalore

About The Role

As Senior Associate, you’ll work on strategic initiatives to drive new user growth. This will involve a visioning
exercise for user growth leveraging outside-in and inside-out insights. You’ll lead initiatives to identify new 10x
growth opportunities as well as structurally reduce CAC. This is a cross-functional role that works closely with the
Creative, Product, Analytics, and Tech.

What You Will Do - Growth

● Drive exponential user growth for Meesho


● Drive new user acquisition for Meesho by efficiently executing and scaling up Performance marketing
campaigns on Google, Facebook, and other digital media platforms.
● Carefully track the performance of campaigns and continually optimize them by taking various data
cuts and doing in-depth solutioning.
● Keep experimenting with various constructs, campaign types, ad platforms, etc. and generate actionable
insights
● Own end-to-end channel management while liaising across functions - Creative, Product, Analytics,
and Tech
● Experiment & Scale new and emerging marketing opportunities, channels, and user cohorts
● Drive continuous problem discovery to identify opportunity areas through research, outside-in, and data
analysis and recommend 10X user growth opportunities problems
Business Unit: FINANCE

Designation- Senior Associate- Finance


Location- Bangalore

About the role

As Senior Associate - Finance, you will be in charge of developing and maintaining a robust financial plan and
execution. Suffice to say, you will have a hand in making changes that will affect millions in India! You will also
readjust our financial plans and budgets as per changing business plans.

Obviously, not every day is going to be the same. But on any given day you are expected to provide financial
support and advice to management in closing business deals.

What you will do

● Work closely with specific business units and actively participate in its operations and management
● Jointly own the OKRs of the respective business units and build an AOP to achieve them
● Review the plans vs. actuals on a regular basis for the business you are associated with
● Complete account-level month-end closing reviews, procedures, and corrections as needed
● Handle ad hoc requests and problem-solving with a short turnaround time
● Participate and drive standardization automation projects for process efficiency
● People management – internal stakeholder management
● Critical attributes to success would be strong communication, cadence and resilience
