REPORT WRITING GUIDELINES

The Survey Project Report must contain following headings:


1. Introduction
 Provide a brief introduction to the field survey, including the purpose, importance,
and scope of the study.
 Introduce the background information that necessitated the survey.

2. Review of Literature
 Summarize relevant literature and studies related to the topic of the field survey.
 Highlight gaps, controversies, or areas that the current study aims to address.
 Provide a theoretical framework if applicable.

3. Objectives of the Study


 Clearly state the specific objectives (at least 3-4) of the field survey. These should
align with the research questions or goals of the study.

4. Research Methodology
 Describe the research design and methodology used in the field survey.
 Provide details about the geographical location and characteristics of the study area.
 Include any relevant information about the population or community being surveyed.
 Outline the sampling technique, data collection methods, and tools used (e.g.,
surveys, interviews, observations).
 Summaries the section in tabular form.
