1. Grammar and Vocabulary Introduction (15 minutes):

2. Making Questions and Answers (45 minutes):
o Use textbook exercises to practice matching questions
with their correct answers.
o Students create their own questions using the Present
Simple tense.
3. Reading and Comprehension (60 minutes):
o Read passages and dialogues that include examples of
daily routines and personal preferences.
o Complete exercises on identifying and using positives and
negatives in sentences.
Periods 4-5: Activities and Listening 4. Questionnaire Activity (30
minutes):
Distribute questionnaires. Students fill out their information and
then interview a classmate.
Each student completes the questionnaire about themselves and
another student, using the Present Simple tense.
5. Role-play and Practical Application (30 minutes):
o In pairs, students discuss their answers and ask additional
questions based on their questionnaires.
o Role-play a conversation where one student interviews
another about daily preferences and routines, mimicking a
real-life scenario.
Assessment:
Observe students during the questionnaire and role-play activities
to assess their ability to use the Present Simple in spontaneous
conversation.
Collect worksheets to check for correct grammar and vocabulary
use.
Homework: Teacher's Initials:
Students write a short paragraph about a classmate’s routine and
preferences using the information from the questionnaire. NKK
Teacher's Notes:
Frequently ask CCQs and ICQs to check understanding of vocabulary and dialogue structures.
Provide feedback on the clarity of the dialogues during role-plays.
Encourage trainees to use the target vocabulary confidently in both speaking and listening
activities.
