our fellow students, Today we all are gathered here , to honor the two pillars of
our gathering “ Innovation and Sportsmanship ”
Arvind - Before proceeding further , Let's welcome our first-year BCA student to perform the
welcome song .
Mayank - "Today, we all stand united not only to celebrate victories, but also to recognise the
dedication, resilience, and invaluable insights gained from both innovation and athletic pursuits.
Arvind - "But , Before we begin this exciting moment of recognizing our outstanding athletes and
creative minds, let's take a moment and know about importance of sports and innovation in
student life..."
Mayank - Sports is not just a physical activity, It is a classroom where lessons
extend beyond textbooks, where the arena becomes a stage for self-discovery,
and personal growth. Regardless of background or academic pursuits, students
come together on the field, united by a shared passion. On this journey of self-
discovery, students also encounter the powerful lesson of teamwork. As the
legendary basketball player Michael Jordan once said, "Talent
wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships."
Arvind - "In student life, innovation acts as a catalyst for growth, It creates an
environment where new ideas can thrive and where we're encouraged to think,
and solve problems , Through innovation, students not only shape their own
future but also contribute to the advancement of society, driving progress and
inspiring others to reach new heights of excellence.
Mayank - I am thrilled to announce that our own B.Tech 3 rd d students have
emerged victorious in the recent Hackathon competition held in Rajasthan! .Their
dedication, creativity , and never ending efforts have not only brought honor to
our institution but have also showcased their exceptional talents on a grand
scale.
Arvind - Now , I invite ----------------------, the brilliant minds behind this remarkable
achievement, to step forward and join us on stage and share experience with us .
Let's give them the applause they truly deserve!
Arvind - Now, without further ado. let us know what sports
activities we did in the college in the last few days.
Mayank – The first sports activity was cricket tournament…
We had six teams in men's cricket division . We divided those
6 teams into two groups, Group A and Group B. Each team got
two chances to play and the teams that performed well were
taken to the finals.
The Men's Cricket League was held from 29 to 31 January . In
girls division there were two teams , and On 2nd of feb we had
finals of criket tournament for both division , In men’s
division final was played between Team Tech warriors and Team
Garhwal rifles,In girls division final was played between team
power puff girls and team Do or Die , the match was very
exciting and thrilled.
Arvind –
In the Mens volleyball, we had a total 8 team which we
divided in two groups ,group A and group B. A total of 4
matches were played in volleyball tournament on 29 and 30th
January, out of which 4 teams were selected for semi-finals.
On 31st January we had our Men's Volleyball semi-finals.In
girls division , there were two teams . on the 2nd of feb we
had finals of volleyball tournament for both division and , In
mens division we had finals between fukrey 7 and Garhwal
rifles ,in girls division we had finals between team power
puff girls and team spikes squad , the match was amusing and
nail-biting.
