Topic:Dengue Prevention and Control
Topic Description: Dengue fever is a significant viral infection transmitted primarily by Aedes aegypti mosquitoes, characterized by sudden onset of high
fever, severe headaches, pain behind the eyes, joint and muscle pain, and rash. We will discuss its mode of transmission, prevention measures, and the
community actions for dengue control.
Course Title: NUR204 - Community Health Nursing II
Placement: 1st Semester
General Objective: Empower community members with the knowledge needed to prevent dengue by encouraging community wide engagement in vector
management, enhancing early detection of symptoms, and advocating coordinated activities to reduce mosquito habitat, and reduce the spread of dengue
