MVP Features & it’s need

• Automatic time tracking:

Tracking tools can improve communication, collaboration, and team cohesion by providing visibility into
work progress and deadlines.
• Productive software list:
The employer or manager should have the ability to specify which productive software to monitor. The sof
tware should then track only the time spent on these designated applications. This feature is essential to ensure that
only work-related activities are being monitored.
• Swipe-in and swipe-out:
The software should automatically log the total daily active hours of the employee and make an automatic
entry for swipe-in and swipe-out times. This feature is essential for accurately tracking employee attendance and
ensuring fair compensation.
MVP Features & it’s need

• Real-time usage summary: Employees should have the ability to view their active time
summary in real-time to monitor their progress and ensure they are meeting their daily
goals. This feature is crucial for helping employees manage their time more effectively
and boost their productivity
• Feedback and coaching: The software should enable managers to offer feedback and
coaching to employees using the data and analytics provided by the tool. This feature is
crucial for enhancing employee performance and productivity.
• Mobile access: The software should enable employees to access the product from their
mobile devices. This feature is essential for allowing employees to work from anywhere
and at any time, thereby enhancing their flexibility and productivity.
• User authentication and security: The software should enable employees to access the
product from any device, provided they successfully authenticate using their official
email address and login credentials.

Finalized Sketch by Team

 After careful consideration of the strongest ideas from our product sketches, our team voted to
move forward with the following concept for wireframe development.
Wireframe Story Board
We've created a wireframe based on the selected sketch, including all features listed
Customer Feedback
Customer 1:

✓I really like the app’s design and user interface. It’s clean, straightforward, and easy to navigate. I
appreciate how it tracks the usage time for different applications. But sometimes, work involves offline
events, and that’s still productive time. How does the app handle that? Will it count offline work as
productive time, or will it show up as idle?

Customer 2:

✓ I think the app’s concept is really solid. The addition of mental health resources is a nice touch—it shows
that the company genuinely cares about its employees’ well-being. I did notice, though, that the
software usage section only tracks desktop apps. What about tasks done through web browsers, like
research? Will those be tracked too?

17
Customer Feedback
Customer 3:
✓ The wireframe looks really clean, and the features seem helpful for seeing what got done in a day and
identifying where time goes. But I’m wondering—will this app work on a client’s laptop, especially if
there are extra security measures in place?
Customer 4:
✓ I find the real-time usage summary really useful for understanding how employees spend their time. It’s
great for spotting patterns, which would be super valuable for management. If the app could also work
offline, that’d be a big plus for people working in areas with spotty internet.
Customer 5:
✓ The app looks pretty good. The features seem like they’ll be really helpful for managers to keep track
of employee productivity and performance. Plus, the detailed dashboard and charts make it easy to
monitor and understand employee behavior. Overall, I think this app has a lot of potential to be a great
tool for any company.

Customer Questions and Solution
Based on the wireframe presentation, we received feedback from our potential customers on specific
aspects of the app. Here are the questions raised and the proposed solutions:

[Link] does the app handle offline meetings and events? Will they be recorded as idle time or
work time?

-> We’re introducing a "Raise Request" feature specifically for offline events. This will let employees
request approval for offline activities, and once approved, these will be logged as "work time" in the
app. This way, all productive efforts are accurately reflected.

[Link] are research activities tracked, especially when employees use search engines or offline
tools?

-> We’re expanding the software summary section to include a detailed breakdown of Apps and URLs
used. This update means that not only will search engine activities be tracked, but also any offline
support tools employees rely on, giving a full picture of their research efforts.

19
Customer Questions and Solution
[Link] does the app work on a client laptop? Does it depend on employee profiles, or does it
require installation?

-> Right now, the app is a standalone solution that needs to be installed directly on the client’s laptop.
However, we’re exploring the possibility of adding a web-based version down the line to offer more
flexibility and ease of access.

[Link] the app meant to be used online or offline? Is it a web app or a standalone application?

-> WorkWise is currently a standalone app that captures data from both online and offline tools. This
allows it to seamlessly track productivity even without a constant internet connection, making it versatile
for different work environments.

Updated Wireframe Story Board
Key Learnings 1 - Apoorv Shrivastava - 2024TM93159

Start Small: You need to design a simple version of a feature with only very
basic or almost none of the necessary functionality. It is needed because you
actually cannot plan everything in detail in advance. In 90% of the cases, new
additions and corrections will appear during the development stage, or you
may even want to rebuild the entire system
Keep on Learning: For our years in business, we figured out that it is never
enough knowledge when it comes to software development. New technologies
appear every day and programming languages significantly evolve over time.
Stay abreast of the updates
Better Done than Perfect: To be honest, this is actually one of the first things
you need to remember, even before you start your project. Forget it.
Remember the first rule - start small and then extend. Build an MVP (Minimum
Viable Product) and release it so it can test the market and find its profitable
spot. Then it will happen; you can extend the functionality to satisfy the
needs of your target audience.
Key Learnings 2 - Himanshi Sahu – 2024TM93100

Collaboration & Teamwork: Working within a diverse team help

generate lateral perspective around the product proposition and
come up with a compelling MVP for the envisioned product.
Detailed workshop and brainstorming helped gain the right
alignment.
Innovation: An important aspect in the product envision phase.
Keeping right focus helped us bring in differentiated offering and
values in the product.
Market Research: Competitive landscape as well as market
demand analysis helped us define the right set of priorities and
thus scope the MVP appropriately. In real-life product budget
and milestone will depend on these criteria significantly.
Key Learnings 3 - Kishore Kumar B – 2024TM93164
Starting with a product sketch: Hand-sketching product ideas can be a useful starting
point to get ideas on paper and sharing them with the team.

Converting the sketch into a wireframe: Once the product sketch is ready, it's
important to convert it into a digital wireframe to add more detail and create a clearer
picture of what the product will look like.

Identifying MVP features: Finding out the most important features required for the
product is important and those features need to be prioritized.

Importance of customer feedback: Seeking feedback from customers is crucial for

creating a successful product. By listening to their suggestions and concerns, we can
improve the product and make it more user-friendly.
Key Learnings 4 - Kislay Vats - 2024TM93076

Communication: Good communication is crucial for project success. This

includes actively listening, asking questions, providing feedback, and keeping
team members informed about progress and any changes.

Flexibility: In order to effectively tackle challenges, it is crucial to remain

flexible, adaptive, and find innovative solutions by pivoting when necessary.

Teamwork and Collaboration: Successful team projects require teamwork

and collaboration to ensure all members are working towards a shared goal,
leveraging their skills and expertise to achieve success.

Attention to Detail: Paying close attention to detail is important to ensure

that the project is completed accurately and to a high standard. This includes
checking work for errors and making corrections as necessary.
Key Learnings 5 - MD Mohsin Ali – 2024TM93072

Collaboration: Working in a team to develop solutions for a problem can

provide different perspectives and ideas, leading to better outcomes.

Creativity: Low-fidelity hand-drawn sketches can be a valuable tool for

brainstorming and generating ideas quickly and effectively.

Prioritization: Identifying and prioritizing the most important features of a

product based on the needs of the users and the goals of the project is
essential for developing an effective MVP.

User-Centered Design: Developing a product that prioritizes the needs and

experiences of the users is key to ensuring its success.

Agile Development: Focusing on developing a minimum viable product (MVP)

that can be iterated upon and improved over time is a valuable approach for
developing software products.
