Model Problems

Step 1: Draw the table with column heading and row number (don’t calculate total and
percentage in the first table)

Step 2: Write the values from the table given


In A1, write the name
In B1 to F1, write the 5 subject name
In H1, write the total
In I1, write the percentage
Step 3: Select the Rows and columns and in font group select the border from the home tab
Ie., Home tab -> Font Group -> border
Step 4: Apply the formula to add the marks in each row
(Write the cell range)
Step 5: Apply the formula to find the percentage of each row
(TOTAL / sum of subject)*100
Step 5: Save the file with the name and the extension
Step 6: Draw the table again and write the total and percentage after the calculations
