1. Generic
OPTION CLAUSE: The Purchaser reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity to be ordered upto 25 percent of bid quantity at the
time of placement of contract. The purchaser also reserves the right to increase the ordered quantity by up to 25% of the contracted quantity
during the currency of the contract at the contracted rates. Bidders are bound to accept the orders accordingly.

3. The bidder must have supplied at least one (01) nos. of 5 kV or higher voltage grade Digital Insulation Tester to any PSU / Govt.
Organization/ Public Limited Company within last five (05) years from the last day of the month before the month of NIT.
4. The following documents shall be submitted with the bid documents in support of their eligibility:
a) If the bidder is not an OEM, then bid specific authorization from OEM shall be submitted with the bid.
b) Copy of purchase order/s
c) Proof of supply from the end user / Invoice copy

5. SUPPLIER'S MONOGRAME AND DETAILS TO BE EMBOSSED VISIBLY.

Guarantee Clause : GUARANTEE FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF INSTALLATION OR 18 MONTHS FROM THE
DATE OF DELIVERY WHICHEVER IS EARLIER.

RPN Clause:
Subject to the terms and conditions of the gem contract, if the supplier neglects or fails to perform the contract by the time or times agreed
upon, for any reason other than force majeure, the purchaser after having come to know of such negligence or non-performance, after giving
14 to 30 days' notice to the seller to rectify or such any extended period that the seller and purchaser may mutually agree, shall take such
action as it considers fit including but not limited to taking risk purchase action for supply of similar materials,mitigating any losses, at the risk
and cost of the supplier as far as the undelivered quantity in that delivery period is concerned. The right of the purchaser for risk purchase
action is in addition to the right of purchaser to terminate the contract due to the fault of the supplier. The price differential in case of higher
cost to RSP-SAIL, if any, shall have to be borne by the defaulting supplier. RSP reserves the right to recover the price differential from
pending bills of the supplier in other sail units. Moreover, the defaulting supplier shall have no claim over the quantity, which they failed to
supply. SAIL-Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) shall be placing back-up order against gem contracts on successful bidder(
s). The concerned bidder has to mention the back-up order number in the invoices for proper accounting of material upon receipt in SAIL-
RSP. Hard copy of the invoice signed and with seal (or digitally signed invoice), has to be sent to manager (F&A)
, store bills, administration building, Rourkela Steel Plant, Rourkela, Odisha 769011.this will help us in ensuring timely payments.
SAIL-RSP is entitled to claim credit of input tax (ITC) paid on the supply of the bid item (as applicable). Since BOQ bidding in GeM does not
provide for calculation of ITC amount from back-end, the basic prices will be arrived at, by back-calculation from quoted rates, considering the
GSTas applicable. Any attachments in the bids, which are at variance from the above terms & other terms & conditions of this bid shall be
ignored and the firm shall be evaluated on based the terms of this bid only. Bidders must submit a "self-declaration certificate" mentioning
that all terms and conditions of the tender are acceptable to him/her. Bidder(s) is not required to upload the signed copy of the bid/RFQ again.

FORMAT FOR SUBMISSION OF GUARANTEE CERTIFICATE:

We stand guarantee for the material supplied/job executed by us against A/T No. Dated. , Invoice No. Dated
for a period of months from the date of installation/use or months from the date of Supply/job completion whichever occurs earlier.
In case any defect is found in its material/workmanship within the guarantee period we shall rectify / replace the same free of cost / at our cost.

NOTE: If guarantee certificate is not submitted as per PO terms in above mentioned format, even then it will be presumed that the material supplied against this
PO is covered by guarantee as per the PO terms. Accordingly supplier shall be liable to replace / rectify the material on FOR RSP stores basis, in case any defect
is found in its material/workmanship within the guarantee period.

date of intimation by RSP/knowledge of rejection.

2. Rourkela Steel Plant will have no liability arising out of such rejected stores; the stores shall lie at the risk of contractor/supplier from the
date of intimation and the said contractor/supplier shall indemnify SAIL, RSP from any liability/loss and damages on this score.
3. If the rejected goods are not removed/withdrawn within the stipulated period as mentioned above, such stores shall be treated as abandoned goods
and Rourkela Steel Plant shall have the liberty to dispose of the abandoned goods in any manner at the risk and cost of the contractor/supplier.
4. Payment of any Taxes / Duties under GST Act which may be required to be paid at the time of removal of such rejected goods from RSP will have to be deposited
with RSP prior to collection of the rejected goods.
