How To Build A Strong Spiritual Life
Two main ways to build a strong spiritual life is through a healthy
spiritual nutrition and spiritual exercises
1. Go For Healthy Spiritual Nutrition – Isa. 55:1-10
Our spirit man must continuously be fed on quality nutrition from

The Word offers vital nutritional values

Module 2: Engage the Power of Conscience
Every mortal man has a conscience, but a dead one, until he or she
is saved – Rom. 8:1-2.
The dead spirit of man was illustrated severally in the Old Testament
as in the case of Cain and Gehazi – Gen. 4:9/ 2 Kg. 5:25-27
But man’s transformation is rooted in the renewal of his mind –
Rom. 12:2/ Pro. 23:17
What is Conscience?
Conscience can be defined as the Spirit of life that indwells within
our mind – Eph. 4:23

Conscience is our invisible part that determines the outcome of our
lives.
It is your most confidential companion.
It is the real you that only you and God alone can relate with.
Its mission is to ‘police’ your destiny unto dignity, if allowed
The healthier one’s conscience, the higher he soars in the race of
life.
Four Kinds of Conscience
1. Dead Conscience – 1 Tim. 4:2
Evil has had his way to a point that the conscience has become dead
– 1 Tim. 4:2
2. Defiled Conscience – Tit. 1:15
3. Weak Conscience – 1 Cor. 8:12
Its like a chameleon in nature, he adapts without any resistance to
the ongoing in any environment.
4. Pure Conscience – 1 Tim. 3:9
5. Good Conscience – 1 Tim.1:19

God cannot tell us to be what He has not empowered us to be – 1
Pet. 1:14-16/ Mat. 5:48
Temptations are meant to be overcome and not to overcome us

God’s benchmark for believers is to grow into the fullness of the
stature of Christ unto a perfect man – Eph. 4:11-15
We have the God-given right to purge ourselves – 2 Tim. 2:19-21

The anointing of the Holy Ghost is no substitute for a good
conscience – Rom. 9:1
One can live in a good conscience before God all through life – Act.

How to maintain a Good Conscience
One major way to build a healthy conscience is through spending
quality time in the Word and on the prayer altar – Psa. 119:9-11/ Act.
24:16
Through a healthy thought pattern – Mak. 7:21-23/ Phi. 4:8
We can engage the Blood to purge our conscience from dead works
– Heb. 9:14
Proofs of a Good Conscience
Godly sincerity demonstrated in your day-to-day walk – 2 Cor. 1:12
No walking in craftiness, no falsehood, no manipulation – 2 Cor. 4:1-
2.
Living honestly – Heb. 13:18
Refusing to be a partaker of the unfruitful works of darkness – Eph.
5:11
Knowing that someday, everyone of us shall give account of himself
before God – Rom. 14:12/ 1 Cor. 15:19

We must not be deceived, the unrighteous cannot inherit the
kingdom of God – 1 Cor. 6:9-11
