LEARNING OBJECTIVES

M At the end of the lesson, most pupils will be able to identify and colour correctly at least 6
classroom objects based on the descriptions given.

C At the end of the lesson, most pupils will be able to describe at least 6 classroom objects
correctly.
1. Tell pupils put their rulers, rubbers, pens, pencils and books on the table.
I. PRE-LESSON 2. Describe an object. Pupils repeat. (e.g. pencil)
3. Pupils hold up/point to the object.

1. Review previous lesson by displaying flashcards of classroom objects on


the board.
2. Pupils name the objects and get them to talk about the colour of the
objects.
3. Distribute interactive notebook bag templates and the descriptions card
to pupils.
II. LESSON
DEVELOPMENT 4. Tell pupils to take out their coloured pencils.
5. Pupils read the descriptions.
6. Pupils make a dot of the right colour in the objects and write the objects.
7. They compare answers in pairs.
8. Check answers with the class.
9. Pupils colour the objects.

1. Play Kim’s Game with the pupils.


Kim’s Game: Pupils look at the classroom objects on the tray for 30
III. POST LESSON seconds. Then close their eyes as you take something away. The pupils
should tell you what you took away.
2. If time, pupils can play the game in small groups.
