PROJECT BRIEF
FOOD RESQ is a mobile application
designed to tackle the global issue of food
wastage by notifying users in advance
about the expiration dates of items
stored in their refrigerator along with
inventory management and suggesting
nutritional plans according to the
groceries present. It will also enable users
to remotely control certain features of
their smart refrigerator.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
In Indian Household we can see rampant
food wastage due to over purchasing,
improper storage and ineffective meal
planning. Addressing this challenge it
demands innovative solutions for a
sustainable food culture.
SOLUTION
In response to the critical global challenge of
food wastage, our solution, FOOD RESQ, is a
revolutionary mobile application designed to
reduce the food wastage with expiration
reminders and meal planning suggestions.
