1. INTRODUCTION
This document describes methodology for LT panel Installations.

Power tools (drills, screwdrivers, etc.)
Measuring tools (tape measure, spirit level, etc.)
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): helmets, gloves, safety boots, goggles

4. WORK PROCEDURE
3.1 Method of Work:
Pre-Installation Activities:
1. Site Inspection: Inspect the installation site to ensure it is ready and free of obstructions.
2. Material Inspection: Check all LT panels and accessories upon delivery to ensure they are as per
specifications and free from damage.
3. Tool Inspection: Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
3.2 Installation Process:
Positioning of Panels:
Mark the locations for LT panels as per the layout drawings.
Ensure the foundation or mounting surface is level and robust.
3.3 Mounting the Panels:
Lift the panels into position using appropriate lifting equipment.
Secure the panels to the foundation or mounting surface using anchor bolts.
3.4 Electrical Connections:
Connect incoming and outgoing cables to the panels as per the wiring diagrams.
Ensure all connections are tight and secure, using appropriate torque settings.
Use proper cable lugs and terminals for connections.
3.5 Earthing:
Connect the panel earthing points to the main earthing system of the building.
Verify continuity and resistance of earthing connections.

3.6 Inspection and Testing:
Conduct a visual inspection to ensure all connections are correct and secure.
Perform insulation resistance tests on cables and panel components.
Check the operation of circuit breakers and protective devices.

Energize the panels and perform functional tests.
Verify that all equipment operates correctly under load conditions.
Record all test results and ensure they meet the specified criteria.

5. Safety
SAFETY MESURES :
Ensure all personnel are trained and aware of the potential hazards.
Use appropriate PPE at all times.
Follow lockout/tagout procedures when working on electrical circuits.
Keep the work area clean and free of debris.
6. Emergency Procedures
Maintain clear access to emergency exits and first aid stations at all times.
Train personnel on emergency procedures including evacuation routes and response to accidents or injuries.
Have emergency contact numbers and procedures readily available on-site.
