Lesson Objectives: - By the end of the lesson, students will be able to


reply to a greeting such as Hello, Good morning, Good afternoon, How’s
the weather today? …
*Classroom Rules - Greet the students and
(5minutes) -Review class rules together with the students and
have students say them out loud, and ensure they
follow them throughout the class. Listen to the
teacher, look at the teacher or whichever student who
has the floor and repeat along with the class.
Warm Up or break up - Head, shoulders, knees, and nose… stand up, on your
(5- 10 minutes) toes, reach up, spin around and sit back down

Presentation - Clear sky weather; rainbows the northern lights


Introductions - Stormy Weather: Hurricanes
(5minutes) Have you ever seen a rainbow and where? I have
seen…,
Would you prefer to see the northern lights or a
hurricane? Why?

Practice - Students repeat in chorus and repeat if there is a


(10 minutes) peer who is having challenges until the class can
proceed together. Discuss what makes for weather
conditions that we stay home as well as that for which
we would go out of our way to experience and why…
Production - Students in pairs take turns dialoguing with one
Worksheet another, while the class listens and repeats the
(5-10 minutes) corrections or applauds, cheers and claps for their
peer’s success.

Wrap Up -Review and see if the students understood the lesson
