PROGRAMME SCRIPT
Introduction
- Jerome:
- It was in 1906 when Lord Stephenson Smith Baden Powell initiated the
scouting movement to foster and develop independence, discipline and
love of nature to young boy.
- Jerome:
- Three years later, at the memorable crystal palace rally of the Boyscouts
in England , a group of uniformed , self-styled Girlscouts appealed to
Lord BP to form a similar movement for girls. Since then, scouting made
a great impact to young boys and girls alike.
- Jeromel:
- This very day, we are celebrating a memorable moment in a boy or girl’s
life: to be welcomed into the boyscout and girlscout organization.
Greetings
- Jerome: Good morning, Scouts!
- Jerome: Welcome to Joint BSP-GSP Investiture Ceremony.
- I’m Adult Leader Jerome B. Pineda
- Your today’s Master of Ceremony.
- Jerome: Scouts, May I request everyone to removed your neckerchief.
Processional
- Jerome: Let us welcome the entrance of the Candidates for Investitures
as they approach the ceremonial ground followed by the Outfit Adviser
and Troop Leader, Guests, Head Teachers and Principal with a
resounding applause.
Invocation
- Jerome: Before we formally start the program, we would like to offer
this moment to the Most Almighty Father through a Prayer.

Entrance of Colors
- Ladies and Gentlemen, the Entrance of Colors.
National Anthem
- Jerome: Please remain standing as we sing our National Anthem to be
led by Adult Leader Rialene Castro Followed by the Panunumpa sa
Watawat ng Pilipinas led by Nino S. Cortez , Senior Scout.

Opening Remarks
- Jerome: To formally start our program, may we call on our Respected
and ever supportive Principal IV of our beloved School Dr. Amalia D.
Lising for Opening and welcome Remarks.

Candle Lighting Ceremony
- Jerome: And now,
- Jerome: The long wait is over; let us all witness the Candle Lighting
Ceremony.
- Assistant Outfit Adviser, Sir Dondon Aquino will lead us to the Outfit
Investiture Proper Ceremony.
Lighting of the Principal Candle
- Jerome: May we call on once again Dr. Amalia D. Lising to light the
Principal Candle. as a symbol of Spirit of Scouting.
Lighting of the Scout Oath Candle
- Carl: Let’s proceed with the lighting of the Scout Oath Candle. Scout
Leader Lance Ashmer Liwag will light the candle.

DUTY TO GOD: Your family and religious leaders teach you to know and
serve God. By following these teachings, you do your duty to God.

DUTY TO OTHER PEOPLE: Many people need help. A cheery smile and a
helping hand make life easier for others. By doing a Good Turn daily and
helping when you're needed, you prove yourself a Scout and do your part
to make this a better world.

- DUTY TO SELF: Keeping yourself physically strong means taking care of
your body. Eat the right foods and build your strength. Staying mentally
awake means learn all you can, be curious, and ask questions. Being
morally straight means to live your life with honesty, to be clean in your
speech and actions, and to be a person of strong character.

The Donning of Neckerchief
- Jerome: May we request all Teachers, parents and guardians to don the
neckerchief of the scouts as symbol of acceptance in the Scout
Movement.
- Jerome: Our Neckerchief represents as the identity and basic uniform of
a Scout… The Universality of the Scout Movement Serves as many
practical purposes such as Bandage and tourniquet, Signal Flags during
emergencies, In absence of ropes, may also be joined together to be
used as one and Protects the head from the heat of the sun.
- Jerome: The Wooden Carabao Head as Slide… The symbol of hard work,
humility, perseverance and strength… An animal of burden which is so
valuable, an asset to the Filipino farmer. It Exemplifies kindness,
friendliness, hospitality, patience and persistence which are held highly
by every Filipino and Our national animal – that possesses “good
character”, which also render selfless service to all. You may now
prepare yourselves and accept your charge as we request your parents
and guardians to lead the Neckerchief Donning Ceremony.
