Other Notes & Recommendations :
- The engine out of service.
- Cooling fan damaged and under prepare by PTB
- Exciter stator under repair by PTB
- It is recommended to send the generator to EMC workshop for insulation enhancement or
rewinding upon final inspection (T1 G = 0.65 MΩ & minimum accepted is 1MΩ)
- It is highly recommended to install filters on the air inlet paths to protect genset from marine
weather.
Note :
1- EMC recommend to replace SDV valve according to repeated failure during operation. Taking
into consideration engine protection depends on shut-off the SDV.
