dress trousers, dress capri pants (not spandex athletic attire, western cut trousers (trousers that are
material) cut like jeans with full pockets in the back), cargo
pants (pockets on sides), denim colored dress pants
Pants/skirts/dresses must not be shorter than (3) that look like jeans
inches above the knee all the way around the body
Pants/skirts/dresses must not drag the floor, must
Pants/dress trousers/capris/skirts must not be tight all be neatly hemmed. Rolled pants are only
the way down the leg. acceptable if pants are hemmed that way.

dress shirts, collared dress shirts (not polos), cotton polos (except ones with W.O. logo), crop
blazers/sport coats, blouses, sweaters/cardigans, tops, spaghetti straps, halter tops, sleeveless shirts
dress jackets, sleeveless shirts (if underarms shaved) with unshaved underarms, midriff bearing tops,
blouses with large logos or emblems, screen-
cotton t-shirts (small pocket acceptable) will be printed t-shirts, hooded shirts/ jackets/sweatshirts,
allowed if worn under a cardigan, sweater, or dress racerback shirts, tops with a large cutout in the
jacket. No thin, see through, tattered, faded, or dingy back, camisoles must be worn with a bra and
t-shirts. another garment over it, sleeveless shirts with less
than one inch covering shoulder
company logo shirts with collar (company polos)
t-shirt rule is subject to change based on employee
blouses and tops must not be low cut or unbuttoned response (keep it professional)
Cold shoulder blouses (cut outs in arms/shoulders)
are acceptable as long as undergarments do not
show. Must have one inch fabric on shoulder.
Acceptable Shoes: Not Acceptable Shoes:
loafers, dress shoes with or without heel, slides, athletic shoes including all lace-up shoes, ugg
flats, open toe shoes as long as toes are well- boots, work boots, casual sandals, boat/deck shoes,
manicured and polish is not chipped, dress boots (no multi-colored socks, boot socks
pant leg tucked inside, no laces or ties), dress
sandals, trouser socks and solid color socks no crocs (dressy crocs wedges are okay), flip flops,
hiking boots, or hiking sandals
GENERAL DRESS CODE INFORMATION FOR ALL DEPARTMENTS
The following rules apply to all departments, and both sexes:
1. All clothing should be clean and neatly pressed (no wrinkles).
2. Fingernails must be clean and well maintained. No chipped polish allowed.
3. All employees are issued name badges to identify you as a Wardell employee. If you lose your name
badge, you are required to report it to the Practice Administrator immediately. You may be sent home to
retrieve your name badge if you forget it. Name badges should be worn so all company logos are
visible.
4. All clothing must be clean and well maintained. Tattered clothing or clothing with holes will not be
permitted.
5. Shirts must be long enough to cover abdomen and back at all times.
6. One nose piercing is allowed (stud earring only). No other facial piercings are allowed. Tongue rings
are not permitted. Ear gauges are not permitted. Plugs must be worn during working hours.
7. Pants must not drag the floor. They must be neatly hemmed.
8. Smart watches, fitbits, or any other personal communication device that can receive texts or calls may be
worn but the employee must follow the cell phone policy (and not use it for calls/texts while on
company time).
9. Employees will receive one verbal warning when violating the dress code policy. On the second
offense, the employee will be sent home to change and must return to work within a reasonable length of
time. Personal leave time will be used to change and return to work.
10. Headbands are acceptable but bandanas worn on any part of the body, including hair, are not acceptable.
