DAILY ROUTINARY ACTIVITIES
Every day at the Laselva Site, a sequence of processes is followed to ensure that
every aspect of construction runs smoothly. Let's take a deeper look at what happens
every day.
1. Begin the day correctly by arriving at the site before 8:00 a.m. This allows us to
be productive to begin the day.
2. Safety first: We put on safety gear such as a hard hat, safety shoes, and arm
sleeves when we arrive on the job site and also when inspecting the quality of
work.
3. Sharing Updates: Once we get to the site, we talk about what we did yesterday.
This helps us recall what the experts taught us.
4. Reading Information: We study and learn about structural and architectural plans.
This will help us determine the location of the structures.
5. Listening to what the engineers are teaching. This will help us better understand
how the site works and what we need to do on-site.
6. Taking notes: We jot down important details that the engineers provide us. This
can help us recall what they taught.
7. Taking pictures: We photograph the various structures and equipment used on
site. This will help us remember and recognize the equipment.
8. Break Time: We take our break for lunchtime and relax to ensure that we have
enough energy for the rest of the day.
9. Measuring and inspecting: We measure the length, depth, thickness, elevation,
and check for dents on buildings. This will allow us to determine whether the
structure has the correct size and position.
10. Doing Assigned Duties: We accomplish duties assigned to us by engineers, such
as estimating and locating the formwork to be utilized, cutting list of rebar’s,
calculating the amount of concrete, estimating the cost, and making the method
statement. This will allow us to become more familiar with on-site work.
11. Helping the Engineers: We help the engineers by doing different tasks to keep
things running smoothly.
12. Talking to the Engineers: We continue to communicate with the engineers so that
we can feel comfortable and engage productively.
13. Talking to other employees: We communicate with other workers or staff on-site.
This can help us get familiar with the stuff and activities on-site.
14. Tracking Time: At the end of each working day, we log what we completed and
how long it took.
15. Saying good-bye: Every time we leave, we say goodbye to the engineers and
other staff members.
