Drawing tools

Line tool – this tool is used to draw lines of various thickness and angles.

Customize line tool –

1. Double click on line tool


2. Change desire option such as –
Stroke style – this list shows you various styles of lines.
Stroke weight – in this text box you specify the width of the line. Width can be
800 pts.

Rectangle tool – click and drag to draw a rectangle

Square – using shift key

To round the rectangle corner –

1. Double click on rectangle tool


2. Select desired option
3. Click on ok button.

To reshape a rectangle –

1. Select a rectangle
2. Give element + rounded corners command.
3. Select desire option.
4. Click on ok.

To use the oval tool

1. Click the oval tool


2. Position the pointer where you want to draw the circle.
3. Click and drag to draw and oval. If you want to draw a circle press shift key as
you drag.

To use the polygon tool

1. Click the polygon tool


2. Click and drag

Creating a star

1. Double click on polygon tool.


2. Specify desire side
3. Increase star inset percentage.
4. Click on ok.
Changing the shape of polygon

1. Select object
2. Give element + polygon setting command
3. Specify desire side.
4. Click on ok

To reshape a polygon

1. Double click the polygon you want to reshape


2. Reshape the polygon by dragging vertex

Changing strokes and fills

To apply or change fill and stroke attributes

1. Select an object
2. Give element + fill and stroke command
3. Specify desire fill and stroke.
4. Click on ok.

Deleting an object

1. Select the object


2. Give edit + clear command or press backspace or delete key.

Undo (ctrl + Z) – this command is used to cancel previous editing.

Duplicating an object –

To copy and paste an object –

1. Select the object


2. Give edit + copy command
3. Click on target
4. Give edit + paste command
5. Ctrl + alt + v

To paste several copies

1. Select the object you want to duplicate.


2. Press ctrl + g (group)
3. Give edit + copy command.
4. Give edit + paste multiple command
5. Specify the horizontal and vertical offset values
6. Specify the number of copies to paste
7. Click on ok
