2. Distinguish the difference between those operating systems and identify
their advantages and disadvantages from one another.
With the Mac OS, it is much simpler, because of its minimalist design it’s much
easier to access apps and files. It has a data sharing like no other, it also known
for their stability, performance, and security. The Mac OS only have limited
antivirus software options, limited software customization unlike windows, less
flexible, and etc. Windows on the other hand, has a wide range of customization,
hardware, has more antivirus or malware protection, compatibility, and etc. even
though Windows has a lot of advantages it also has disadvantages like higher
risk of malware and virus attacks, has a lot of outdated applications, and it is
very dependent on the device’s price and manufacturer.
3. Identify any potential threats on the computer and explain why you
believe they are harmful. If there are none, explain why.
There are a lot of potential threats on the computer and they can be very harmful.
For example, malware can steal your data, corrupt files, damage operating
system. Trojans, worms, viruses, spyware, adware phishing emails, and any kind
of suspicious sites, apps, or software can lead to your computer getting hacked or
damage, in a worse can scenario your data can be leaked.
