FROG

CROCHET BUCKET HAT

MATERIALS: GAUGE:
⚫ DK Weight Yarn. I used 5 ply milk cotton. 6 rows and 7 stitches in HDC using 4 mm hook =
50g to 100g yarn in grass green #22, less than 10g yarn 2” x 2” or 5 cm x 5 cm.

BRIM BRIM

Work your first round into the front loop only At the end of each round, join the round with a slip stitch (SL

ASSEMBLE THE HAT
ASSEMBLE THE HAT
1. Using a black yarn stitch the mouth onto the hat as indicated in the photos. The bottom the mouth should be
positioned 6 rows above the bottom of the hat (not including the brim rows). Tie off and weave in ends.
2. Using the long tail of light pink yarn sew the blushes onto the hat. The blush should be positioned closer to the mouth.
Tie off and weave in ends.
3. Using the long tail of grass green yarn, sew the first eye onto the hat. The top of the eye is positioned around round 5 and
the bottom at round 9. Do the same to the other ear.

Or use your best judgment and place the eyes, mouth and blushes where they look best to you.
