SUBJECT: INTRODUCTION TO E-
COMMERCE
FINAL PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
PLANNING AN E-COMMERCE BUSINESS
Each group of up to 5 students will undertake a final project on the topic of generating and
building an e-commerce business idea. The group applies steps of Business Project
Planning to build your own e-commerce business project. Students present the project
content to the class within 20 minutes.
Content requirements:
Referenced report structure (can be modified to fix with your idea)
Chapter 1: Introduction
The group presents the business idea and strategic goals of your e-commerce
business. Why did you choose this particular idea?
Chapter 2: Building a Business Model
Clearly define your business model and revenue model.
Try using the Business Model Canvas and/or Revenue Model to identify the key
elements of your business in terms of value proposition, partners, market, customers,
resources, etc.
In addition, the group analyzes competitors. Compared to competitors, what
differentiation and brand positioning do you want to aim for? What can you do to
achieve your goals?
Briefly planning timeline for your project
Chapter 3: Evaluation
Project Evaluation: What have you done and what have you not done? What
limitations and difficulties may your business encounter?
Chapter 4: Conclusion and Development Direction

Format requirements:
Minimum 30 pages, A4 paper size (except cove page, table of content, table of figures,
references...)
Font Times New Roman; Size 13; Paragraph spacing: before: 3pt, after 3pt; Line spacing
1.5; left-right margin; page number at the middle of the footer; any information cannot
be included in the header and footer.
The report must be presented clearly, coherently, and carefully checked for spelling
errors. The content is divided into chapters scientifically and logically under the guidance
of the lecturer.
How to numbering chapter: Example:

(Maximun level is 3)
- Figures must be numbered as well according to the chapter. Example: the first
figure of chapter 1 Figure 1.1 nameofigure, the second figure of chapter 2
Figure 2.2. nameofigure. Place them below the figure and middle margin.

- Tables must be numbered as well according to the chapter. Example: the first
table of chapter 1 Table 1.1 nameofigure, the second table of chapter 2 Table
2.2. nameofigure. Place them above the table and middle margin.
- Reference style: APA style (sách, bài báo, website), recommend to use tool (e.g.)
- No need to print, just send word or PDF file (slide should be presented for the
Presentation session)
