1 Check the make, model and type of the installed pump as


per approved drawings and submittal.

2 Check the location of pumps as per approved drawings.

3 Check installation is done as per the approved drawing.

4 Check shipping bolts/clamps are removed prior to start up.

5 Check all piping connections are complete including


flexible connections as per approved details.
6 Check all nuts, bolts, screws etc, are secure and tightened as
required.

7 Rotate the pump shaft manually and ensure it rotates freely.

8 Check identification labels/tags are provided as per


approved submittals/details.
9 Installation of pumps must be certified by manufacturer or
their authorized representative.

10 On initial start up check for correct direction of rotation.


11 Check for any unusual noise and vibration on start up.
12 Check the electrical installation is done as per approved
drawing.
13 Check the line voltage and phase rotations as per
requirement prior to start up.
