Subject: Numerical Computing Total Marks: 10

Q1. (5 marks) Using Dolittle’s method, find the numerical solution (CLO2)
𝟏𝟎𝒙 + 𝒚 + 𝒛 = 𝟏𝟐, 𝟐𝒙 + 𝟏𝟎𝒚 + 𝒛 = 𝟏𝟑, 𝒙 + 𝒚 + 𝟓𝒛 = 𝟕

Q.2. (5 marks) Use fixed-point iteration method to determine a root correct to 3 decimal places
for 𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒙 = 𝒆𝒙 − 𝟑𝒙 (CLO2)
