Our mission is to build boys into young men through discipline,
accountability, servitude, and integrity that will provide each of them with the
characteristics that will allow them to move on to be great husbands, fathers
and employees.
“If a kid comes to me and doesn’t sign a major league contract his career is over at 22 as a
baseball player. If he lives to be 82, he’s got 60 years to live on who he is as a man”
-Tony Robichaux

Culture
“Culture eats strategy for breakfast”
-Peter Drucker
Why is building a culture so important to success?
Culture is not just a set of rules, plan of action, or an idea, it is a WAY OF LIFE! Culture doesn’t
take a day off its 24/7/365, you must punch the clock everyday and work at it. The simplest
definition of culture is a standard. Standards define a culture and place the bar of expectation at a
level that you must work to obtain everyday. Standards become what is acceptable and
unacceptable. Statistics show that people typically achieve what is expected of them or slightly
below it. When the bar of expectation is set, and clearly defined individuals tend not to accept
anything less of themselves or others around them. Thus, culture breeds success or failure.
Three simple questions must be clearly answered to create a culture:
1. Who are we?
2. Where are we going?
3. How are we going to get there?
3
The Church Point Baseball Culture
1. Who are we?
a. We are the pack. Separately we are ordinary, but together we are extremely
extraordinary. Every single member of the pack has their role that must be
completed for the pack to be successful. Just a single role not being completed
results in the pack failing. No member of the pack is above another, we must all
be willing to do whatever is asked of us no matter the job.
2. Where are we going?
a. We are going to the mountain top, district championships, state championships,
being great brothers, sons, fathers, and husbands. This is our standard every day
and every year.
3. How will we get there?
a. We will get to the mountain top by upholding the 4 pillars of the pack and
developing the 4 legs of the wolf.
The 4 Pillars The 4 Legs
1. Attitude 1. Vision
2. Approach 2. Mission
3. Intensity 3. Expectation
4. Toughness 4. Standards

c. You are entitled to nothing and must earn everything
d. Sacrificing myself for my brothers is the greatest honor.
3. Intensity
a. This is the most valuable tool our team will have.
b. Wave after wave of attacks on our opponent
c. We are never out of the fight.
d. Playing the game free of fear prepared to throw down.
4. Toughness
a. Is how our Attitude, Approach and Intensity are affected in the mist of adversity
b. It is both physical and mental.
c. Will we respond to adversity by “embracing the suck” or will we “tap out”?

back of the jersey.
