Next Steps:
1. Invite: English Ready, Vinay to do in Kannada.
2. Note is ready in English and Kannada. Kannada Note needs to be reviewed. Shashank
will review it by (19th Nov).
3. Pamphlet: Manavi will share the first draft of the Pamphlet in English on 19th Nov.
Shashank to translate in Kannada.
4. Venue: Spoorthidhama needs to be visited and finalised. Hulikunte Murthy will finalise
by tomorrow (19th Nov).
5. Structure and Flow of the workshop: To be facilitated in a mix of Kannada and English
- Why, What, How - Introduction and Background to this process
- Need for Rohit Act
- Historical struggles of DSS in Karnataka
- Challenges faced by the SC/ST students (This is where we want the the student
groups should especially share)
- Realities of the Grievance Redressal Mechanism
- Way Forward - How to plan the convention
6. Facilitation of the workshop:

8. Budget Fundraising:
Raise funds informally, keep a donation box to collect at the workshop.
9. Food Committee: Find sponsor, coordinate food - Vinay to coordinate.
10. Travel Allowance:
Those who reach out to us over call and individually, we will provide travel allowance.
11. Stationery: Book, Bag, Notebook - Manavi/Mrudula to speak to Murli (The Third Eye and
Other Works: Mahatma Phule’s Writings on Education, Rohini Mokashi-Punekar
(Author), Foreword by Bhalchandra Nemade, HM Sir’s Book) – find a sponsor for the
books – Hulikunte Murthy Sir to find.
