JM – can this car move! You're in a bus lane! (visibly frustrated)
- Awkward silence -
DW – uhm ... the weather is nice, isn't it? (nervous)
JM – Does it look like I care! We're on duty! (sighs)
DW – Understood sir
JM – (Gives a weird look) do you have any questions?
DW – Sir, do you think I have what it takes to become an amazing police officer?
JM – How about you ask someone that cares (calmly)
DW - (surprised look, then soon stays neutral) Yes sir, sorry sir
JM – Do you have any better questions (emphasis on better)
DW – Actually I was wondering - (cut off by radio message)

DW – Sir what's a code 10-79? (more confused than scared)
JM – Did you learn anything in training? This is ridiculous! 10 – 79 means there's
been a bomb!
DW – A BOMB? (wondering whether its real)
JM – (sarcastically) No a balloon! Of course, it's a bomb!
DW – But what if we die! (scared)
JM – That isn’t important. We are police officers; we must be prepared to risk our life
to save the public.
DW – But this will be my first mission, I don’t know what to do!
JM – And you will never learn without experience
DW – But what if I mess up?
JM – 1. you won’t and 2. this is the only way you’ll find out if you have what it takes
DW – but what if (–cut off)
JM – get your act together! We're almost there
*The car screeches to a stop outside the arena, with the sound of sirens in

JM - (Rushing towards the arena) Come on, let's go! We don't have time to waste!
DW – (Following behind, breathing heavily) Right behind you, sir!
-imagine chaotic scene at the bombing site, with smoke and debris
everywhere. People are crying for help and trying to escape (BOTH ARE
COUGHING OCCASIONALLY)-
DW – Oh my god! We’re going in there?
JM – Yes, we need to go save people, now come on!
JM - (in- control of the situation) we need to assess the situation. We need to keep
everyone safe
DW – (Nervously) Y- Yes, sir! (attends to a wounded person, barely staying calm)

*Spotting their chief constable, Sarah, barely conscious and injured*
DW– (Surprised) Sarah?! Is that her?
*Rushing to her side, shaken*
JM – (Following DW and noticing Sarah) Oh my god, Sarah! Dan, we have to help
her!
DW – (Nervously) But boss, it's not safe here. We need to leave.
JM – (Determined) No, we can't just leave her here. We have to do something.
DW looks around, scared and uncertain.
DW – (Nervous) I don't know what to do, boss. The situation's too risky.
*JM takes charge, determined to help Sarah*
JM – (Serious) We need to get Sarah out of here and to a hospital. Now.
DW hesitates, unsure of what to do.
DW – (Worried) But what about the danger, boss? We’re meant to be helping the
public.
*JM remains determined to help Sarah*
(Firm) We'll have to take that risk, Dan. Sarah needs us.
DW – Yes, sir ...
Together, they manage to get Sarah to safety, putting their own fears aside
to help a fellow officer in need.
