competent authority. In case of OBC-NCL/GEN-EWS category, the certificate must be issued
on or after April 0l ,2024. Please note that (i) Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL) issued by
Maharashtra State must be validated by Social Welfare department (in case of SC and OBC-
NCL category) and Tribal Welfare department (in case of ST category) of Maharashtra
Government. The SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates of Maharashtra State have to produce their
caste validity certificate in the format available on JoSAA-2024/CSAB-2024/DASA-2024
website.
xviii. The most economically backward students belonging to UR/EWS/OBC-NCL to get
remission of the Tuition fees subject to submission of following documents needs to be
submitted at the time of admission.

o Income certificate issued by the authority not below the rank of sDo/Co.
a Aadhar & PAN of Father and Mother of the student.
a Form-16 issued by the employer of the parent for the last 02 years.
a If Form-16 is not available then undertaking on Rs.100/- stamp paper that "My family income
is not taxable".

xix. Income declared at the time of admission and verified by the admission authority cannot
be altered after the admission process is complete and remains valid for the entire
duration of the course.
xx. No undertaking or request to submit the income certificate and the list of documents along
with income certificate for fee remission as per xviii after the last date of admission will be
entertained by the Institute.
xxi. Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), if applicable; issued by the competent
authority. Refer JoSAA-2024/CSAB-20241DASA-2024 website for format. The certificate
will be rejected if the disability is less than 40o/o (A copy o[ Doctors' Prescription, as
uploaded on JoSAA portal needs to be presented).
