Possessive Adjectives

Possessive adjectives show ownership. They are used like


adjectives and go before a noun in a sentence.
There are no apostrophes used with possessive adjectives.

This is Sam’s book.


This is his book.
Underline the possessive adjective in each
sentence.
1. Hello. Welcome to my house.
2. We have four bedrooms and two bathrooms in our
house.
3. First, this is our kitchen.
4. Our kitchen has its very own fireplace.
5. The next room is our dining room.
