What is BUAF ?
- BUAF is a collaborative platform uniting all
astronomical clubs and organizations across
Bangladesh.
- The primary goal is to strengthen the country’s space
research capabilities through collective efforts.
The Inspiration Behind BUAF
Inspired by the United Nations' model of uniting
nations for peacekeeping, BUAF aims to unite all
astronomical clubs and organizations in
Bangladesh.
Just as the UN leads global peace efforts, BUAF
aspires to lead Bangladesh's space research
efforts on the global stage.
BUAF Vision & Mission
Vision: To establish a unified forum that leads
Bangladesh to become a global leader in
space research by 2045.
Mission: To unite and represent all space-related
organizations in Bangladesh, creating a reliable
leadership that will elevate the nation's
presence in global space exploration.
The Formation of BUAF
Inspired by the UN's peacekeeping forces, BUAF was
formed to bring together Bangladesh's astronomical clubs
under one leadership.
The forum was established with broad representation,
ensuring that every club and organization has a voice in
the decision-making process.
Initiated by students and space enthusiasts across
Bangladesh.
Formed through collaboration with existing astronomical
clubs, academic institutions, and space research
organizations.
A democratic structure ensuring representation from all
member organizations.

Space
Cosmic Scout is a flagship initiative under BUAF, designed to spearhead innovative space
exploration projects.
The goal of Cosmic Scout is to engage young scientists and researchers in cutting-edge
space missions that push the boundaries of human knowledge.
Organizing nationwide talent hunts to identify promising young astronomers.
Running simulation programs and workshops to train the next generation of space
explorers.
Collaborating with international space agencies on joint missions and research projects.
To develop a team of expert space scouts who will lead Bangladesh’s future space
missions, including the historic launch of our self-funded spacecraft by 2045.
